The History of California LCFS Rulemaking

A history of bad (and good) forecasts, wrong assumptions, flip-flopping, people moving around, WSPA losing, and of course 'THE RATCHET'

With the recent historic passages of multiple California GHG reduction rulemakings such as the Advanced Clean Cars 2 (ACC2), Advanced Clean Fleets (ACF), Advanced Clean Trucks (ACT), and the likely passage of LCFS in the coming months, it is a good time to look back and revisit where various individuals and organizations thought where the LCFS program would be today.
